As Managing Director at QTative, Tim Kihm brings more than 35 years of experience in real estate, spanning acquisitions, underwriting, marketing, entitlements, project management, and construction permitting. He plays a critical role in guiding projects from acquisition through entitlement and development phases, with a strong emphasis on community outreach and government relations.

Tim has led a diverse portfolio of real estate initiatives including master-planned communities, multifamily developments, affordable housing, mixed-use projects, subdivisions, business parks, commercial centers, hospitality ventures, campgrounds, and public capital improvements. Known for his ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, Tim excels at securing approvals from a wide range of local, state, and federal agencies.

Outside the office, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife Kim, their three sons, grandchildren, and staying active with scuba diving, tennis, volleyball, and golf. He and Kim are also deeply committed to supporting ministries and charitable organizations they hold close to heart.

Previous

Prior to joining QTative, Tim served as President/CEO of TK Consulting, Inc. He also spent over a decade as President of a prominent development company and was previously a Partner at a development and homebuilding firm. Earlier in his career, Tim spent 18 years as Vice President at a full-service planning, environmental, and civil engineering firm, where he helped lead major entitlement and development efforts throughout Southern California.
